Arizona's Senate seat has been won by Democrat Ruben Gallego, who defeated Republican Kari Lake. Despite the Democrats losing control of the Senate in the 2024 election, Gallego's victory has mitigated some of the losses. Republicans are set to control 53 seats for the next two years, having flipped Pennsylvania, Ohio, Montana, and West Virginia. Fairshake, a crypto-focused super PAC, was heavily involved in the Ohio race, supporting Republican Bernie Moreno with $40 million.
Gallego, a congressman from Arizona, voted in favor of the Financial Innovation and Technology for the 21st Century Act and received $10 million in support from Fairshake. Both prediction markets and polling projected his win. With 16 House races still undecided, Republicans have won 214 seats, leaving them just four seats shy of the majority. Democrats have won 205 seats, and Republicans are favored to win control of the House.
Fairshake supported 56 candidates in the House and Senate races, with a strong record of success in primaries, including California's Senate race.
