The market capitalization of Bitcoin, currently valued at $87,081.62, consistently accounts for over 50% of the entire cryptocurrency market, indicating that more funds are held in Bitcoin than in all other digital assets combined. As a result, during the current bull market, Bitcoin's dominance has reached multi-year highs, exceeding 60%, prompting projects built on other networks to explore ways to access this significant pool of liquidity.

Now, AI bots are also attempting to get a share of the market. Mode, an AI-centric Ethereum layer-2 blockchain, has partnered with the rollup protocol BitcoinOS (BOS) to enable AI agents on its network to access Bitcoin without requiring permission.

This collaboration follows BOS's recent integration with the Cardano network, where it activated the Grail bridge to facilitate the transfer of BTC within that ecosystem. The Grail bridge utilizes zero-knowledge (ZK) technology, which allows for the transfer of assets between networks while maintaining the privacy of the transactions.

Mode, built using Optimism's OP Stack, aims to scale decentralized finance (DeFi) applications through the use of on-chain agents powered by artificial intelligence.
