As the US crypto industry eagerly awaits action from President Donald Trump, the lack of confirmation on an executive order from the White House has created uncertainty. Although Trump did not directly address the crypto industry in his recent speech at the World Economic Forum, he did hint at its potential by mentioning the US as a hub for artificial intelligence and crypto.

The majority of his speech, however, centered on the country's AI commitments, leaving the crypto sector without clear direction. The industry is expected to closely monitor Trump's scheduled executive order signing session, which may provide insight into the administration's priorities. Additionally, an upcoming meeting between Trump and El Salvador's President Nayib Bukele, a known crypto advocate, has generated optimism and led to a surge in Bitcoin's price. Meanwhile, the Senate Banking Committee has established a digital assets subcommittee, and the Securities and Exchange Commission has announced a crypto task force, both of which may have significant implications for the industry.
