Innovative Projects Shine at Consensus EasyA Hackathon: AI, Gaming, and NFTs Take Center Stage
A successful crypto conference is not complete without a Hackathon that highlights the innovative ideas and projects that will propel the Web3 world into its next phase. The Consensus Hong Kong Hackathon, a collaboration between Consensus and EasyA, a startup focused on developer needs, achieved just that by attracting hundreds of competitors eager to showcase their projects and take the industry to new heights. EasyA's founders, Dominic and Phil Kwok, aimed to create a competition that not only celebrates brilliant ideas but also ensures that the winners are committed to building the future of Web3. Unlike other competitions, participants focused on a single piece of technology with plans to launch on one specific chain. The two-day event drew in some of the world's top developers competing for a chance to win over $200,000 and present their projects to influential venture capitalists and investors. Projects were developed within various tracks, including Aptos, Ripple, Polkadot, and OriginTrail. Winners included AI-powered portfolio managers on decentralized exchanges, blockchain gaming, payment solutions, social media platforms, and NFT platforms. The Aptos Track saw winners such as ProfitX, an AI-powered portfolio manager and trading assistant, and HealthDB, which offers a local-first, Aptos-based AI agent for health data management. The Ripple Track winners included Xeno, a tap-to-pay solution, and FrameUS, a platform for donating to charities. The MozaicNFT Track was won by MozaicDot, a comprehensive NFT platform interacting with Polkadot's AssetHub. Other tracks, including Crust Network and OriginTrail, saw winners such as Mixture of Multichain Experts (MoME) and Pix x Origintrail Telegram Bot, showcasing a wide range of innovative applications. These projects demonstrate the potential for Web3 technology to transform various aspects of our lives, from finance and gaming to social interactions and beyond.
