A recent funding round has seen Dinari, a cryptocurrency startup specializing in the tokenization of real-world assets, raise $12.7 million in a Series A investment led by prominent venture capital firms Hack VC and Blockchange Ventures. Additional support was provided by VanEck Ventures, F-Prime, and the Avalanche Fund, as reported by Fortune. This investment brings the total funding for the California-based company to $22.65 million.
Dinari's platform allows businesses to offer their customers the ability to invest in US-based companies and funds through the use of dShares, which are also available directly on the Dinari platform. Each dShare is backed by a corresponding real-world share, which is purchased and held by Dinari. The company generates revenue through a subscription-based model for access to its API, with significant demand coming from Latin America, particularly Argentina and Brazil, as well as from Africa and Southeast Asia. The newly acquired funds will be utilized to enhance regulatory compliance across Dinari's operational markets.
Although the company is currently generating revenue, it has chosen not to disclose specific figures at this time.
