A newly established government relations firm in Washington, D.C., comprising former administration officials, has begun operating to assist crypto and artificial intelligence companies in influencing US policy. NexusOne Consulting is headed by Jeff Ifrah, a defense attorney; Jim Trusty, a former government lawyer who represented the Trump administration; and Ross Branson, a veteran of the Commerce Department during Trump's first term.

Ifrah stated, 'A unique opportunity has arisen to shape the future of tech policy. Our goal is to ensure innovators play an active role in shaping policy, rather than merely responding to it.' With Trump's ambition to make the US the global crypto hub and his plans for a strategic bitcoin reserve, NexusOne positions itself as a liaison between the private sector and the government, located directly across from the White House, and intends to advocate for companies at the forefront of AI, crypto, and social media platforms.
