SOL Strategies, a Canadian digital asset firm specializing in Solana, has filed a registration statement with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to list its shares on the Nasdaq exchange, seeking to tap into the vast US economy. The company submitted a 40-F form, a requirement for Canadian companies looking to offer securities in the US.

Upon SEC approval, SOL Strategies will trade under the ticker symbol STKE. A successful listing would grant the company access to the world's second-largest stock exchange, Nasdaq.

On Wednesday, the company's shares rose over 4% to close at CAD $2.38. SOL Strategies has been increasing its SOL holdings, including a recent purchase of 122,524 SOL for $18.25 million in May.

According to analysts at Cantor Fitzgerald, companies investing in Solana may reap benefits as the cryptocurrency gains traction in the financial sector.
