US Voters Rank Crypto as Low Priority Ahead of Elections, Survey Reveals

In the lead-up to the US midterm elections, a survey conducted by Public Opinion Strategies on behalf of CoinDesk found that cryptocurrencies are not a major concern for voters, with only 1% of respondents ranking it as their top priority. The survey, which polled 1,000 randomly selected registered voters, revealed a mixed view of the technology, with 27% of participants having invested, traded, or used a cryptocurrency, while another 27% expressed interest in doing so in the future. Despite the relatively low prioritization of crypto, the industry remains invested in the election's outcome, with hundreds of millions of dollars dedicated to supporting friendly candidates. The survey also showed that Americans have a generally unfavorable view of cryptocurrencies, with 40% of respondents disapproving of US President Donald Trump's performance and the cost of living, jobs, and the economy being the most pressing issues. The poll's findings will be further discussed at Consensus Miami, where CoinDesk will release additional data from the survey.
