Donald Trump Hosts Elite Crypto Conference Featuring Mike Tyson, Tether CEO, and Cathie Wood
A prestigious group of cryptocurrency executives, investors, and public figures is scheduled to speak at a private conference hosted by former US President Donald Trump at his Mar-a-Lago club in Palm Beach, Florida, on Saturday. The event, dubbed the 'most exclusive conference in the world,' commenced with Bill Zanker, co-founder of the $TRUMP meme coin, and was followed by boxing legend Mike Tyson. Other notable speakers include Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino, who will discuss the connection between financial inclusion and the US dollar's global role, as well as Ark Invest founder Cathie Wood and Alchemy CEO Nikil Viswanathan, who will explore the intersection of artificial intelligence and cryptocurrency. The conference will also feature a panel on the state of crypto and equities markets, with Anchorage Digital CEO Nathan McCauley and investor Anthony Pompliano of ProCap Financial in attendance. Traditional finance investors, including Tim Draper and Grant Cardone, and author Tony Robbins, will also participate in the event. The conference is part of Trump's broader efforts to support the digital asset industry since his return to the White House in January 2025. The event is limited to the top 297 holders of the $TRUMP token, a meme coin launched in Trump's name, with the former president listed as the keynote speaker. This marks the second time Trump has hosted such an event, which has sparked controversy and concerns about his involvement in the cryptocurrency industry. Despite backing several crypto-related projects, including the $TRUMP and $MELANIA meme coins, the tokens have seen significant declines in value since their launch.
