US Voters Prioritize Other Issues Over Cryptocurrency Ahead of Elections, Survey Finds

As the US midterm elections approach, a survey conducted by Public Opinion Strategies on behalf of CoinDesk has found that American voters are prioritizing issues such as the cost of living, jobs, and the economy over cryptocurrency. The survey, which polled 1,000 randomly selected registered voters, showed that only 1% of respondents ranked crypto as their top concern. However, a wider view of the technology as an important political issue was revealed through other responses. The survey also found that Americans generally have an unfavorable view of cryptocurrencies, with 27% of participants saying they had invested, traded, or used a cryptocurrency, and 47% of respondents believing that Republicans are more supportive of cryptocurrencies. Despite this, 40% of respondents said they would be more likely to vote for a candidate who shared their views on crypto, indicating a growing awareness of digital assets among voters.
