Cryptocurrency Ranks Low on US Voters' Priority List Ahead of Elections, Survey Reveals

As the US midterm elections approach, a survey conducted by Public Opinion Strategies on behalf of CoinDesk has found that voters are prioritizing issues such as the cost of living, jobs, and the economy over cryptocurrencies. While only 1% of respondents ranked crypto as their top concern, a wider view of the technology as an important political issue was revealed through other responses. The survey, which was evenly split between Republican and Democrat respondents, also showed that Americans have a generally unfavorable view of cryptocurrencies, with 27% of participants saying they had invested, traded, or used a cryptocurrency, and 47% believing that Republicans are more supportive of cryptocurrencies. Despite this, 40% of respondents said they would be more likely to vote for a candidate who shared their views on crypto, indicating a growing awareness of digital assets among voters.
