US Voters Prioritize Other Issues Over Cryptocurrency in Upcoming Elections, Survey Reveals

As the US midterm elections approach, a survey conducted by Public Opinion Strategies on behalf of CoinDesk found that cryptocurrency ranks low among voters' priorities. The survey, which included an evenly split representation of Republican and Democrat respondents, discovered that only 1% of participants considered crypto their top concern. Despite this, the crypto industry has invested heavily in supporting candidates, reflecting its vested interest in the election's outcome. The survey also revealed that Americans generally hold an unfavorable view of cryptocurrencies, with 27% of participants having invested or used crypto and 47% perceiving Republicans as more supportive of the industry. Meanwhile, the cost of living, jobs, and the economy remain the most pressing issues for voters, with crypto and artificial intelligence ranking relatively low. The full survey results will be released at Consensus Miami, providing further insight into voters' views on crypto and its role in the upcoming election.
