Cryptocurrency Ranks Low on US Voters' List of Priorities Ahead of Elections, Survey Reveals

As the US midterm elections approach, a survey conducted by Public Opinion Strategies on behalf of CoinDesk has found that cryptocurrencies are not a top priority for voters. Only 1% of respondents ranked crypto as their primary concern, despite the industry's vested interest in the election's outcome. The survey, which polled 1,000 randomly selected registered voters, revealed that the cost of living, jobs, and the economy are the most pressing issues for Americans. Crypto ranked near the bottom of the list, with artificial intelligence being the only issue that garnered less attention. The survey also showed that Americans have a generally unfavorable view of cryptocurrencies, with 60% of respondents disapproving of US President Donald Trump's performance. The poll's findings suggest that while crypto may not be a decisive factor in the election, it remains an important issue for many voters, with 22% considering it to be an important issue and 3% ranking it as the single most important issue. The survey's results will be presented at Consensus Miami on Tuesday.
