Cryptocurrency Ranks Low on US Voters' Priority List Ahead of Elections, Survey Reveals

As the US midterm elections approach, a survey conducted by Public Opinion Strategies on behalf of CoinDesk has found that cryptocurrencies are not a top priority for voters. The survey, which polled 1,000 randomly selected registered voters, revealed that only 1% of respondents ranked crypto as their primary concern. Despite this, the industry is closely watching the elections due to the potential impact on market structure bills and tax reform legislation. The survey also found that Americans tend to view cryptocurrencies unfavorably, with 27% of respondents having invested in or used crypto and 47% believing that Republicans are more supportive of the industry. However, when asked about the importance of crypto in the 2026 election, 22% of respondents considered it an important issue, indicating a growing awareness of digital assets among voters.
