Trump Hosts Elite Crypto Conference with Mike Tyson, Tether CEO, and Cathie Wood

A prestigious group of cryptocurrency executives, investors, and public figures will convene at a private event hosted by U.S. President Donald Trump at his Mar-a-Lago club in Palm Beach, Florida, on Saturday. The conference, dubbed the 'most exclusive in the world,' kicked off with a presentation by Bill Zanker, co-founder of the $TRUMP meme coin, followed by boxing legend Mike Tyson. Other notable speakers include Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino, who will address the connection between financial inclusion and the U.S. dollar's global role, as well as Ark Invest founder Cathie Wood and Alchemy CEO Nikil Viswanathan, who will explore the intersection of artificial intelligence and cryptocurrency. The event will also feature a panel discussion on the state of crypto and equities markets with Anchorage Digital CEO Nathan McCauley, and appearances by investor Anthony Pompliano and traditional finance investors Tim Draper and Grant Cardone. Author Tony Robbins will also be in attendance. As the keynote speaker, Trump is expected to champion the digital asset industry, a sector he has actively supported since his return to the White House in January 2025. The conference is limited to the top 297 holders of the $TRUMP token, a meme coin launched in his name, and marks the second time Trump has hosted such an event. His involvement in the crypto industry has raised concerns among Democratic lawmakers, who have protested his potential profiting from the $TRUMP token while promoting legislation to support the industry. Despite this, Trump has backed several crypto-related projects, including the $TRUMP and $MELANIA meme coins, which have generated millions of dollars in revenue for entities linked to him and his family. However, the $TRUMP token has fallen approximately 97% from its peak since its launch, while the $MELANIA coin has dropped around 99% after a brief surge.
