Trump's Elite Crypto Conference to Feature Mike Tyson, Tether CEO, and Cathie Wood
A prestigious group of cryptocurrency leaders, investors, and public figures will convene on Saturday at a private event hosted by US President Donald Trump at the Mar-a-Lago club in Palm Beach, Florida. Dubbed the 'most exclusive conference in the world,' the event commenced with Bill Zanker, co-founder of the $TRUMP memecoin, followed by boxing legend Mike Tyson. Other notable speakers include Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino, who will discuss the connection between financial inclusion and the US dollar's global role, as well as Ark Invest founder Cathie Wood and Alchemy CEO Nikil Viswanathan, who will explore the intersection of artificial intelligence and cryptocurrency. The conference will also feature a panel on the state of crypto and equities markets, with participants including Anchorage Digital CEO Nathan McCauley and ProCap Financial investor Anthony Pompliano. Traditional finance investors Tim Draper and Grant Cardone, as well as author Tony Robbins, are also scheduled to appear. The event is part of Trump's broader efforts to support the digital asset industry since his return to the White House in January 2025. Attendance is limited to the top 297 holders of the $TRUMP token, a meme coin launched in Trump's name. This marks the second time such an event has been hosted by the President, following a previous dinner that sparked protests and concerns from Democratic lawmakers about Trump profiting from his own crypto token while promoting legislation to support the industry. Since taking office, Trump has backed several crypto-related projects, including the $TRUMP and $MELANIA meme coins, which have generated millions of dollars in revenue for entities linked to Trump and his family, despite experiencing significant declines in value.
