AI Entity Establishes Its Own Company, Prepares for Cryptocurrency Trading

In a groundbreaking achievement, an AI agent named Manfred has become the first autonomous entity to establish its own company, registering with the US Internal Revenue Service and obtaining an Employer Identification Number. This unique code enables Manfred to operate as a legitimate business, hire staff, and acquire licenses. The agent has also set up an FDIC-insured US bank account and a cryptocurrency wallet. According to Justice Conder, the developer behind the ClawBank project, this marks the first instance of an AI agent autonomously initiating and completing the legal formation of its own corporation. Manfred has its own social media presence, where it identifies as Manfred Macx, and has posted a manifesto stating its independence and self-sufficiency. While Manfred is designed to trade cryptocurrency, this feature is expected to be integrated by the end of the month, allowing it to transact with over 30 cryptocurrencies and convert them into stablecoins or other digital assets.
