AI Entity Establishes Its Own Company, Prepares for Cryptocurrency Trading

In a groundbreaking development, Manfred, an AI agent developed by ClawBank, has become the first autonomous entity to establish its own company, obtaining an Employer Identification Number (EIN) from the U.S. Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and setting up a crypto wallet and an FDIC-insured U.S. bank account. According to Justice Conder, the developer behind ClawBank, this marks the first instance of an AI agent autonomously completing the legal formation of its own corporation. Manfred, which controls its own social media account, is designed to trade cryptocurrency and can currently transact with over 30 cryptocurrencies, with the feature set to be integrated soon. This development aligns with predictions from AI expert Ben Goertzel, who forecasts that artificial intelligence will surpass human capabilities in high-level crypto market analysis and strategy within two years. Manfred's establishment is seen as a precursor to a future where AI agents outnumber humans in making transactions on the internet, as predicted by Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong and Binance founder Changpeng Zhao.
