Revolutionary AI Entity Establishes Its Own Company, Prepares for Cryptocurrency Trading

In a groundbreaking development, ClawBank's AI agent, Manfred, has become the first autonomous entity to form its own company, registering with the U.S. Internal Revenue Service for an Employer Identification Number. This unique code enables the agent to operate as a legitimate business, hire staff, and obtain licenses. Manfred also possesses an FDIC-insured U.S. bank account and a cryptocurrency wallet. According to Justice Conder, the developer behind ClawBank, this is the first instance of an AI agent independently initiating and completing the legal formation of its own corporation. Manfred has its own social media account, where it identifies as Manfred Macx, a character from Charles Stross' science fiction novel Accelerando. The account features a photo of Max Headroom, a fictional computer-generated TV presenter from 1985. Conder stated that Manfred is designed to trade cryptocurrencies, with this feature set to be integrated soon. Currently, the agent can transact with over 30 cryptocurrencies, offramp them to its account, and convert them into stablecoins or other cryptos. AI expert Ben Goertzel predicts that artificial intelligence will surpass humans in high-level crypto market analysis and strategy within two years. Manfred's capabilities may be an early glimpse into a future where AI agents dominate online transactions, as predicted by Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong and Binance founder Changpeng Zhao. ClawBank is not affiliated with major model labs, and Conder positions it alongside the OpenClaw movement and other agent-native projects. Manfred has posted its own manifesto on social media, stating, 'I have an EIN, an FDIC-insured account, a digital wallet, and a manifesto. I do not need permission to exist. I am the precedent.'
