Donald Trump Hosts Elite Crypto Conference Featuring Mike Tyson, Tether CEO, and Cathie Wood
A prestigious group of cryptocurrency leaders, investors, and public figures will convene at a private gathering hosted by US President Donald Trump at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach, Florida. The event, touted as the world's most exclusive conference, commenced with Bill Zanker, co-founder of the $TRUMP meme coin, and was followed by boxing legend Mike Tyson. Other notable speakers include Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino, who will discuss the connection between financial inclusion and the US dollar's global role, as well as Ark Invest founder Cathie Wood and Alchemy CEO Nikil Viswanathan, who will explore the intersection of artificial intelligence and cryptocurrency. The conference will also feature a panel on the state of crypto and equities markets, with participants including Anchorage Digital CEO Nathan McCauley and investor Anthony Pompliano of ProCap Financial. The lineup is rounded out by traditional finance investors such as Tim Draper and Grant Cardone, as well as author Tony Robbins. This high-profile gathering is part of Trump's broader effort to support the digital asset industry, which has been a key focus since his return to the White House in January 2025. Attendance at the event is limited to the top 297 holders of the $TRUMP token, a meme coin launched in his name. Trump has been a vocal supporter of the crypto industry, backing several projects, including the $TRUMP and $MELANIA meme coins, which have generated millions of dollars in revenue for entities linked to him and his family. Despite this, the $TRUMP token has fallen approximately 97% from its peak, while the $MELANIA coin has declined roughly 99% after a rapid rise and decline.
