The solution lies in private parallel blockchains, such as Tempo's Zones, which offer private transactions and compliance controls. Alternatively, zero-knowledge cryptography provides a different approach, enabling parties to prove the validity of transactions without revealing underlying data. As the industry moves forward, it must decide between privacy through trusted operators or cryptographic guarantees that require no trust at all.
