UK Courts Crypto Exchange Bybit to Replicate UAE's Innovative Spirit

In a bid to replicate the United Arab Emirates' thriving crypto landscape, UK economic development officials have invited Bybit's leadership to London. Bybit CEO Ben Zhou revealed that the UK is eager to attract major businesses and create jobs, with a focus on forthcoming crypto-friendly regulations. Zhou's meetings with the Financial Conduct Authority and the House of Lords coincide with UK Fintech Week and the Treasury's plans to revamp payment systems using stablecoins and tokenization. The invitation comes as the UAE faces challenges, including recent attacks from Iran, prompting an exodus of residents and tourists. The UK aims to capitalize on this situation and lure back businesses and investment, with Zhou stating that the timing is opportune for the UK to win back the outflow of money and companies.
