Crypto Investment Funds Experience Significant Inflows, Reaching $155 Billion in Assets

A notable influx of institutional investments is currently driving the crypto market, with recent data indicating a steady rise in bitcoin's value. According to a report by CoinShares, digital asset investment products have seen four consecutive weeks of gains, with $1.2 billion in inflows recorded last week. The total assets under management for crypto funds have reached $155 billion, with bitcoin alone attracting $933 million in investments, bringing the year-to-date total to $4 billion. Ether also saw significant inflows, with $192 million invested, marking the third consecutive week with investments exceeding $190 million. Meanwhile, blockchain equity ETFs are gaining traction, with $617 million in inflows over the past three weeks, driven by demand for indirect exposure to crypto technology. As bitcoin's price reached $79,399, its highest level since January 31, the market awaits the outcome of megacap tech earnings this week, which could determine whether the current risk-on bid continues to support crypto prices.
