Donald Trump Hosts Elite Crypto Conference Featuring Mike Tyson, Tether CEO, and Cathie Wood

This weekend, a prestigious group of cryptocurrency leaders and public figures will convene at a private event hosted by former US President Donald Trump at his Mar-a-Lago club in Palm Beach, Florida. The conference, dubbed the 'most exclusive in the world,' commenced with a speech by Bill Zanker, co-founder of the $TRUMP memecoin, followed by an address from boxing legend Mike Tyson. Other notable speakers include Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino, who will discuss the connection between financial inclusion and the US dollar's global role, as well as Ark Invest founder Cathie Wood and Alchemy CEO Nikil Viswanathan, who will explore the intersection of artificial intelligence and cryptocurrency. The event also features a panel on the state of crypto and equities markets, with participants including Anchorage Digital CEO Nathan McCauley and investor Anthony Pompliano of ProCap Financial. Traditional finance investors Tim Draper and Grant Cardone, as well as author Tony Robbins, are also set to appear. The conference is part of Trump's broader effort to support the digital asset industry, which has been a key focus since his return to the White House in January 2025. Attendance is limited to the top 297 holders of the $TRUMP token, a meme coin launched in Trump's name. This event marks the second time Trump has hosted such a gathering, which has previously sparked controversy among Democratic lawmakers. Despite the hype surrounding the $TRUMP token, its value has plummeted about 97% from its peak, while the $MELANIA coin has fallen roughly 99% after a brief surge.
