Donald Trump Hosts Elite Crypto Conference with Mike Tyson, Tether CEO, and Cathie Wood as Key Speakers
A prestigious group of crypto executives, investors, and public figures will convene at a private conference hosted by Donald Trump at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida. The event, dubbed the 'most exclusive conference globally,' kicked off with a presentation by Bill Zanker, co-founder of the $TRUMP meme coin, followed by a speech from boxing legend Mike Tyson. Other prominent speakers include Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino, who will explore the connection between financial inclusion and the US dollar's global role, as well as Ark Invest founder Cathie Wood and Alchemy CEO Nikil Viswanathan, who will delve into the intersection of artificial intelligence and cryptocurrency. The conference will also feature a panel discussion on the state of crypto and equities markets, with participants including Anchorage Digital CEO Nathan McCauley and investor Anthony Pompliano. Traditional finance investors such as Tim Draper and Grant Cardone, as well as author Tony Robbins, will also be in attendance. This high-profile gathering is part of Trump's broader efforts to support the digital asset industry, with the conference website listing him as the keynote speaker and limiting attendance to the top 297 holders of the $TRUMP token. The event marks the second time Trump has hosted such a conference, which has sparked controversy among Democratic lawmakers who have raised concerns about the president's potential profits from his own crypto token. Since taking office, Trump has backed several crypto-related projects, including the $TRUMP and $MELANIA meme coins, which have generated millions of dollars in revenue for entities linked to him and his family. Despite this, the $TRUMP token has fallen approximately 97% from its peak, while the $MELANIA coin has plummeted around 99% after a brief surge.
