Donald Trump Hosts Elite Crypto Conference Featuring Mike Tyson, Tether CEO, and Cathie Wood

A prestigious gathering of cryptocurrency executives, investors, and public figures is taking place at a private event hosted by US President Donald Trump at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach, Florida. The conference, touted as the 'most exclusive in the world,' commenced with Bill Zanker, co-founder of the $TRUMP memecoin, and was followed by boxing legend Mike Tyson. Other notable speakers include Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino, who will discuss the connection between financial inclusion and the US dollar's global role, as well as Ark Invest founder Cathie Wood and Alchemy CEO Nikil Viswanathan, who will explore the intersection of artificial intelligence and cryptocurrency. The event also features a panel on the state of crypto and equities markets, with participants including Anchorage Digital CEO Nathan McCauley and investor Anthony Pompliano of ProCap Financial. Traditional finance investors such as Tim Draper and Grant Cardone, as well as author Tony Robbins, are also part of the lineup. This high-profile conference is part of Trump's broader efforts to support the digital asset industry since his return to the White House in January 2025. Attendance is limited to the top 297 holders of the $TRUMP token, a meme coin launched in his name. The event marks the second time Trump has hosted such a gathering, which has previously raised concerns among Democratic lawmakers about the president's potential profiting from his own crypto token while advocating for industry legislation and appointing regulators. Since taking office, Trump has backed several crypto-related projects, including the $TRUMP and $MELANIA meme coins, which have generated millions of dollars in revenue for entities linked to Trump and his family through transaction fees. However, the $TRUMP token has declined approximately 97% from its peak since its launch around Trump's second inauguration, while the $MELANIA coin has dropped roughly 99% after a brief surge.
