Parasite Mining Pool Strikes Again, Finding Its Second Bitcoin Block

A novel bitcoin mining pool, designed to challenge traditional models, has achieved its second block. Parasite Pool, which operates on a hybrid model, mined block 945,601, containing 7,398 transactions and 0.002 BTC in fees. The pool's system, where the winning miner receives 1 BTC and the remaining 2.125 BTC plus fees are distributed proportionally among participants, has been proven to work. With no fees to participate and payouts through the Lightning Network, Parasite Pool offers an alternative to mainstream mining models. Founded by ZK Shark, the creator of Ordinal Maxi Biz, the pool targets home miners and aims to provide a more equitable distribution of rewards. The pool's hashrate currently stands at 52 petahashes per second, and its second block is a significant validation of its hybrid model. As the pool continues to operate, it will be interesting to see if it can sustain its hashrate and provide consistent rewards to its participants.
