Watch XRP, Plasma, and DOGE as Bitcoin Remains Stable

Bitcoin's sluggish trading near $75,000 has shifted the spotlight to other notable crypto projects. Among these, XRP has seen significant developments, with U.S.-listed spot XRP ETFs attracting over $17 million in inflows, marking a resurgence in demand. This uptick is complemented by encouraging news, including Ripple's partnership with Kyobo Life Insurance to launch a real-time tokenized government bond settlement system on blockchain in South Korea. Furthermore, XRP's derivatives market is exhibiting bullish signals, with rising open interest and positive funding rates. The open interest has surged to 1.89 billion XRP, a level not seen since late March. Another significant development is the stablecoin-focused layer-1 blockchain Plasma, which has emerged as the world's seventh-largest blockchain by total value locked, with a TVL of $2 billion. This growth could be linked to rising optimism around the CLARITY Act, which aims to clarify the regulation of digital assets, including stablecoins. Additionally, Plasma has been chosen, alongside Ethereum and Arbitrum, to support Tether's new self-custody wallet. Meanwhile, DOGE, the meme-inspired token, is experiencing its lowest volatility since February 2024, as indicated by tight Bollinger Bands. This period of low volatility is likely to end with significant price swings. As for bitcoin, the combination of on-chain profit-taking, uneven spot demand, and cautious options suggests continued range-bound trading near $75,000. It is essential to remain vigilant in this market scenario.
