Tom Duff Gordon, previously the vice president of international policy at Coinbase, has made the move to OpenAI to take on the role of head of EMEA Policy, as confirmed by a Coinbase representative. With nearly four years of experience at Coinbase under his belt, Duff Gordon brings a wealth of knowledge to his new position. Prior to joining Coinbase, he spent 8.5 years working in banking at Credit Suisse. Duff Gordon, an expert in cryptocurrency regulations, had highlighted the issue of UK banks restricting access to compliant services for millions of customers due to their inability to differentiate between low-risk, FCA-registered firms and higher-risk operators.
