On the XRP Ledger, this means a payment can be verified as valid, funded, and compliant without publicly disclosing the amount, sender, or receiver. With existing institutional traction, including users like SBI Holdings, Zand Bank, Archax, and Guggenheim Treasury Services, and over $550 million invested in XRPL ecosystem initiatives, the connection to Boundless offers these users a previously unavailable path to privacy.
The timing of this development is significant, given the current discussions around blockchain cryptography, particularly with Google's quantum computing paper prompting major chains to reevaluate their cryptographic assumptions.
