Tom Duff Gordon, who served as the vice president of international policy at Coinbase, a prominent U.S.-based cryptocurrency platform, has made the decision to move on. With nearly four years of experience at Coinbase under his belt, Duff Gordon is now set to lead EMEA Policy at OpenAI, as disclosed by a Coinbase representative via email. Prior to his tenure at Coinbase, Duff Gordon spent approximately 8.5 years working in banking at Credit Suisse.

At the time of this report, he was unavailable for comment. Notably, as an expert in cryptocurrency regulations, Duff Gordon had previously highlighted the issue of U.K. banks restricting access to compliant services for millions of customers, failing to differentiate between low-risk, FCA-registered firms and higher-risk entities.
