Strategy (MSTR) has expanded its bitcoin holdings by 34,164, with an average purchase price of $74,395 per coin, totaling approximately $2.54 billion, as disclosed in a recent filing. This brings the company's total bitcoin reserves to 815,061, valued at around $61.56 billion, with an average cost of $75,527 per coin. Given the current trading price of $75,000, Strategy's bitcoin stash is at a break-even point. The company, which initiated its bitcoin acquisition in 2020, is now the world's largest publicly traded bitcoin holder. The recent purchases were made possible by $2.2 million in funding from the sale of its preferred stock, STRC, and $366 million from common stock sales. As a result, MSTR shares have dropped over 2.5% in pre-market trading.
