Tom Duff Gordon, who served as the vice president of international policy at Coinbase, a prominent US-listed cryptocurrency platform, has made a career move. After nearly four years at Coinbase, Duff Gordon has transitioned to OpenAI, where he will assume the position of head of EMEA Policy, as stated by a Coinbase representative via email.

Prior to his tenure at Coinbase, Duff Gordon spent approximately 8.5 years working in banking at Credit Suisse. He has not yet provided a comment on his recent move. As an expert in cryptocurrency regulations, Duff Gordon previously highlighted the issue of UK banks restricting access to compliant services for millions of customers, due to their inability to differentiate between low-risk, FCA-registered firms and higher-risk entities.
