Tom Duff Gordon, who served as Coinbase's vice president of international policy for nearly four years, has departed the US-based cryptocurrency exchange to pursue new opportunities. According to a Coinbase representative, Duff Gordon has joined OpenAI as head of EMEA Policy. Prior to his tenure at Coinbase, Duff Gordon spent over eight years working in banking at Credit Suisse. His expertise in cryptocurrency regulations led him to recently highlight the issue of UK banks restricting access to compliant services, failing to differentiate between low-risk, FCA-registered firms and higher-risk operators.
