XRP, Plasma, and DOGE Show Promise as Bitcoin Remains Stable

Bitcoin's sluggish trading near $75,000 has shifted attention to other notable crypto projects. XRP, the token used by Ripple for cross-border transactions, has seen a significant surge in demand with over $17 million in inflows to US-listed spot XRP ETFs. This increase in demand is accompanied by encouraging news, including a partnership with Kyobo Life Insurance to pilot a real-time tokenized government bond settlement system on blockchain. Additionally, XRP's derivatives market is showing bullish signals, with open interest rising alongside positive funding rates and cumulative volume delta. The total open interest has jumped to 1.89 billion XRP, a level last seen in late March. Another significant development is the growth of Plasma, a stablecoin-focused layer-1 blockchain, which has become the world's seventh-largest blockchain by total value locked, reaching $2 billion. This growth may be linked to rising optimism around the CLARITY Act nearing approval in the US. Furthermore, Plasma has been selected to support Tether's new self-custody wallet, Tether Wallet. Meanwhile, DOGE, the meme-inspired token, is experiencing low volatility, with Bollinger Bands at their tightest since February 2024, signaling a potential significant price swing. As for bitcoin, the combination of on-chain profit-taking, uneven spot demand, and cautious options suggests continued range play near $75,000. It is essential to stay alert and monitor these developments.
