Tom Duff Gordon, formerly the vice president of international policy at Coinbase, has made the move to OpenAI, where he will serve as head of EMEA Policy. Following nearly four years at Coinbase, Duff Gordon's departure was confirmed by a company spokesperson. Prior to joining Coinbase, he spent over eight years working in banking at Credit Suisse. Duff Gordon, an expert in cryptocurrency regulations, had recently highlighted the issue of UK banks restricting access to compliant services, failing to differentiate between low-risk, FCA-registered firms and higher-risk operators.
