After nearly four years at Coinbase, Duff Gordon has taken on the role of Head of EMEA Policy at OpenAI, as confirmed by a Coinbase representative. Prior to his tenure at Coinbase, Duff Gordon spent 8.5 years working in banking at Credit Suisse.

As a specialist in cryptocurrency regulations, Duff Gordon recently highlighted an issue where UK banks are inadvertently restricting access to lawful and compliant services for millions of customers. This is due to their inability to differentiate between Financial Conduct Authority-registered companies with low fraud rates and those deemed higher-risk.
