Tom Duff Gordon, formerly the vice president of international policy at Coinbase, has made the move to OpenAI to take on the role of head of EMEA Policy. During his nearly four-year tenure at Coinbase, Duff Gordon brought his expertise to the table, having previously worked at Credit Suisse for 8.5 years.
Although he did not immediately respond to requests for comment, his departure marks a significant shift. As an expert in crypto regulations, Duff Gordon had recently highlighted the issue of U.K.
banks restricting access to compliant services, failing to differentiate between low-risk, FCA-registered firms and higher-risk operators.
