Tom Duff Gordon, Coinbase's vice president of international policy, has parted ways with the US-listed cryptocurrency platform after nearly four years. According to a Coinbase spokesperson, Duff Gordon has joined OpenAI as head of EMEA Policy. Prior to his tenure at Coinbase, he spent 8.5 years at Credit Suisse as a banker. Duff Gordon, an expert in crypto regulations, had previously highlighted that UK banks are restricting access to lawful and compliant services for millions of customers by failing to differentiate between low-risk, FCA-registered firms and higher-risk operators.
