The cryptocurrency market is witnessing a rally, with major assets like Bitcoin and Ether experiencing significant gains alongside US equities, as oil prices drop following a decline in the war premium. However, broader market participation remains limited to a select few coins. Bitcoin and Ether have seen a 5% and 9% increase, respectively, over the past 24 hours, driven by strong demand from digital asset treasury firms and traders seeking bullish exposure through futures. The perpetual funding rates are positive but remain below 10% for both assets, indicating healthy demand without signs of overheating.

Analysts remain bullish but are waiting for Bitcoin to establish a strong foothold above the $74,000-$75,000 range. A breakthrough in this range could pave the way for Bitcoin to reach the $87,000-$90,000 range, where the 200-day moving average and November-January support are located. However, before surpassing $90,000, Bitcoin may require a period of consolidation.

Select altcoins, such as ZEC, HYPE, and AAVE, continue to experience gains, while the broader market has yet to fully participate in the Bitcoin rally. Traditional metrics measuring market breadth based on price performance filters indicate that only 51 of the top 100 coins are showing bullish behavior.

The dollar index has continued to decline, hitting five-week lows as war fears ease, supporting the bullish case in risk assets.
