Tom Duff Gordon, Vice President of International Policy at Coinbase, a prominent US-listed cryptocurrency platform, has made a career move. After nearly four years with Coinbase, Duff Gordon has joined OpenAI as Head of EMEA Policy, as confirmed by a Coinbase representative.
Prior to his tenure at Coinbase, Duff Gordon spent 8.5 years in banking at Credit Suisse. He was unavailable for comment at the time of inquiry.
As a specialist in cryptocurrency regulations, Duff Gordon had highlighted that UK banks are inadvertently restricting access to lawful and compliant services for millions of customers by not differentiating between low-risk, Financial Conduct Authority-registered firms and higher-risk entities.
