Bitcoin continues to trade near $75,000, but other cryptocurrencies are making notable moves. XRP, used by Ripple for cross-border transactions, saw over $17 million in inflows to US-listed spot ETFs on Wednesday, the highest since February 2. This indicates a resurgence in demand after a period of low activity.
Ripple has also partnered with Kyobo Life Insurance to launch a blockchain-based government bond settlement system in South Korea. XRP's derivatives market is showing bullish signals, with rising open interest and positive funding rates.
Meanwhile, Plasma, a layer-1 blockchain, has become the seventh-largest blockchain by total value locked, with a TVL of $2 billion, up 27% over the past week. The growth may be linked to optimism around the CLARITY Act, which aims to clarify digital asset regulation. Plasma will also support Tether's new self-custody wallet.
Additionally, DOGE's Bollinger Bands are at their tightest since February 2024, indicating low volatility that may soon end with significant price swings. Bitcoin is expected to continue trading near $75,000 due to on-chain profit-taking and cautious options.
