This code is then used to confirm the user's identity without revealing any personal data. The update introduces new features such as account-based identity, multi-key support, and recovery mechanisms to improve privacy, security, and usability. A dedicated World ID app is also being introduced to enable users to manage their credentials and authenticate across platforms seamlessly. The company has announced partnerships with various platforms, including Tinder, Zoom, and Docusign, to embed its identity layer and provide features such as 'verified human' badges and 'Deep Face' verification to combat deepfakes and bots.
