Tom Duff Gordon, who served as Coinbase's vice president of international policy for nearly four years, has made the move to OpenAI to take on the role of head of EMEA Policy, as confirmed by a Coinbase representative. Prior to his tenure at Coinbase, Duff Gordon spent 8.5 years working in banking at Credit Suisse. Despite his expertise in crypto regulations, which recently highlighted the issue of U.K. banks restricting access to compliant services due to their inability to differentiate between low-risk, FCA-registered firms and higher-risk operators, Duff Gordon did not respond to requests for comment on his departure.
