Tom Duff Gordon, Coinbase's vice president of international policy, has parted ways with the US-listed cryptocurrency platform after nearly four years. According to a Coinbase spokesperson, Duff Gordon has joined OpenAI as head of EMEA Policy.

Prior to his tenure at Coinbase, Duff Gordon spent 8.5 years at Credit Suisse as a banker. He has yet to comment on his move.

As a specialist in crypto regulations, Duff Gordon had recently highlighted the issue of UK banks restricting access to compliant services for millions of customers, failing to differentiate between low-risk, FCA-registered firms and higher-risk operators.
