Tom Duff Gordon, who served as the vice president of international policy at the US-listed cryptocurrency platform Coinbase, has made the decision to leave the company. Following nearly four years at Coinbase, Duff Gordon has transitioned to a new position as head of EMEA Policy at OpenAI, as confirmed by a Coinbase spokesperson via email. Prior to his time at Coinbase, Duff Gordon spent 8.5 years working in banking at Credit Suisse. He has yet to respond to a request for comment.

As an expert in cryptocurrency regulations, Duff Gordon recently highlighted the issue of UK banks restricting access to compliant services for millions of customers, due to their failure to differentiate between low-risk, Financial Conduct Authority-registered firms and higher-risk operators.
