After nearly four years at Coinbase, Duff Gordon has taken on the role of head of EMEA Policy at OpenAI, as disclosed by a Coinbase representative. Prior to his tenure at Coinbase, Duff Gordon spent 8.5 years working in banking at Credit Suisse.
Despite a request for comment, he was unavailable to respond. Notably, Duff Gordon is an expert in cryptocurrency regulations and has highlighted the issue of U.K. banks restricting access to compliant services for millions of customers, failing to differentiate between low-risk, Financial Conduct Authority-registered firms and higher-risk entities.
