Rebound to Profitability: Strategy Sees 8% Gain as Bitcoin Surges Past $77,000
Bitcoin (BTC) has broken through the $77,000 threshold for the first time since its sharp decline on February 5, reaching $77,446.52. This upward movement has a positive impact on Strategy (MSTR), the largest public bitcoin holder, which now sees its holdings in the black with an average purchase price of $75,577. With an 8% increase, MSTR is trading above its 200-week moving average, a key long-term indicator. Bitcoin has risen over 25% and now trades above its 100-day moving average of $74,774, following a low point in early February. Previous attempts to surpass this level were met with rejection, making the current upward trend more significant. Notably, the current breakout above $76,300 is more substantial, especially considering the brief high of $76,700 on February 4 and the stalled recovery attempt at $76,013 on March 17.
