Tom Duff Gordon, who served as the Vice President of International Policy at Coinbase, a prominent US-listed cryptocurrency platform, has made the decision to leave the company. Following nearly four years at Coinbase, Duff Gordon has transitioned to OpenAI, where he will assume the position of Head of EMEA Policy, as disclosed by a Coinbase representative via email. Prior to his tenure at Coinbase, Duff Gordon accumulated 8.5 years of experience in banking at Credit Suisse. He has not yet responded to requests for comment.

As an expert in cryptocurrency regulations, Duff Gordon recently highlighted the issue of UK banks restricting access to lawful and compliant services for millions of customers, due to their failure to differentiate between Financial Conduct Authority-registered firms with low fraud rates and those posing higher risks.
