After nearly four years at Coinbase, Duff Gordon has joined OpenAI as the head of EMEA Policy, as disclosed by a Coinbase spokesperson. Prior to his tenure at Coinbase, Duff Gordon accumulated over eight years of experience in banking at Credit Suisse. Despite attempts to reach out, Duff Gordon was unavailable for comment.
As an expert in cryptocurrency regulations, he had previously highlighted the issue of U.K. banks restricting access to lawful and compliant services for millions of customers due to their failure to differentiate between low-risk, Financial Conduct Authority-registered firms and higher-risk entities.
